Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two individuals, usually wearing protective gloves, fight each other using only their fists. The objective is to score points by landing punches on the opponent while avoiding being hit. Matches take place in a squared ring, and are typically divided into rounds. Boxers are scored based on their effectiveness, technique, and the number of clean punches landed. The sport has various weight classes to ensure fairness in competition. Boxing can be both an amateur and a professional activity and is governed by specific rules that include regulations on techniques, fouls, and conduct. Depending on the competition, matches can be won by points, knockout (when a fighter is unable to continue after receiving a blow), or technical knockout (when a referee stops the fight for safety reasons). Boxing also serves as a form of physical fitness and self-defense training, attracting participants at all levels of skill and fitness.
