Darts

Darts is a precision sport in which players throw small, pointed missiles called darts at a circular target known as a dartboard. The dartboard is divided into numbered sections, which represent different point values, with a bullseye at the center that yields the highest score. The objective of the game is to score points by hitting specific areas on the dartboard, often aiming to reach a predetermined score or to finish a game by hitting particular target numbers in a specific order, such as in the popular games of ‘501’ or ‘cricket’. Darts requires both skill and strategy, as players must consider their throwing technique, aiming accuracy, and the scores necessary to win. The sport can be played individually or in teams, and it is commonly played recreationally in pubs, at home, and in professional competitions.
